I originally trained as a Fine Artist specialising in sculpture and drawing, but I’ve slowly become a painter, heavily influenced by colour and pattern. I’ll paint on any surface from furniture to canvas, ceramics and paper. I often use a floral starting point adding invented elements, something unexpected from a memory or a reaction to the materials and images I choose to use and work from.
