I started sculpting later in life when my children had ‘flown’. I moved up to London to live and studied at Heatherleys Art School completing a sculpture diploma in 2017. I am passionate about animals and grew up and lived in the countryside of Hampshire and in my rural home I surrounded myself with all sorts of pets. – Hatching chicks, grooming goats, feeding pigs and being able to hold and relate to a huge variety of birds and animals has helped me understand their unique characters and physical form which I hope shows through in my sculpture work. I work mostly in clay but also, when the composition requires, I use wax or plaster. My work is then cast into bronze resin and are available as a small limited edition.
Happy to take on commission work.
