Cooper, Alex

Alex Cooper is an artist living in Leicestershire and although she is primarily a portrait painter she also enjoys figurative work and still life painting.  However, the human face is always the most interesting to her and is at the forefront of her practice.  Alex works mostly in oils but also uses charcoal, graphite and watercolour.    If possible she paints from life but is just as comfortable painting from photographic references.  She takes portrait commissions and has work in the UK, USA, France, Norway and New Zealand.
