Willis, Tilly

Born into a family of artists, Tilly has worked as a professional artist since leaving art college in the 1980’s. She lives and works in Somerset, painting landscapes, still life and portraits, mainly in oils, often to commission. She has exhibited at the RA and RSPP and has participated in the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year in 2014 and ’23.

She is particularly known for her evocative paintings of Africa where she has family connections in Senegal and her popular images are published widely through Bridgeman Images as prints, cards, calendars and book covers.
