After many years of training and working in water-based mediums, Verity is currently enjoying the new challenge of working with resin, combined with inks, oils and texture to create contemporary and very organic pieces. Drawing inspiration primarily from the more striking images of the natural world, Verity veers towards the abstract and semi-abstract to interpret skies, land and seascapes that are fluid, uncluttered, expressive and very much open to the imagination of the viewer. One of Verity’s paintings may wake you up, calm you down, evoke memories of a place or holiday, feature interesting foliage, intrigue you… or simply be your favourite colour and go with your colour scheme.
