Sostres, Minuca

Minuca Sostres is a Barcelona-born artist and illustrator based in Surrey, UK. After graduating in Fine Arts and building a successful career of more than twenty years as a professional illustrator, she returned to her first passion: painting. Her work is rooted in observation and storytelling, combining strong drawing skills with a sensitive approach to light, atmosphere and human presence. Working in a figurative style, she explores a variety of subjects including urban landscapes, botanical, still life and the human figure, capturing moments of beauty, movement and everyday life.
