Sarah Baddon Price’s oil and acrylic paintings are bold, dynamic, colourful, and expressive. Working instinctively, she adopts a process-led approach that allows intuition and serendipity to shape the outcome. Rather than starting with a fixed vision, Sarah builds her paintings through layers, applying, washing off, and reapplying paint—allowing each piece to evolve through an unconscious dialogue between gesture, colour, and surface.

Her influences are wide-ranging, drawn from other artists, her experiences of travel, personal relationships, and a deep engagement with the emotional and visual impact of her environment. At the heart of her practice is a desire to reach a place beyond deliberate control, where the work can speak with its own voice, free from constraint. This pursuit of authenticity and spontaneity is central to her goal: to create imagery that remains emotionally resonant, original, and true.
