JB celebrates human experience through art that is bold, emotional, and inclusive. Guided by a commitment to social integrity and diversity he strives to inspire conversations around social issues and personal emotions. JB’s work explores the intersection of vibrant colour, expressive form, and emotional narrative. He started painting after his wife passed as tool to deal with stress, to relax. It definitely helped. He just kept on painting since then and setup Spirit Glow Art to bring that art out to the world. He ‘learned on the job’ and continues to, without any formal training or teaching. Depending on the subject, he likes to put some 3 dimensional texture into his paintings, bringing motion and emotion to the forefront. Fresh and alive, it’s the viewers moments of discovery when he find meaning as an artist.
