Mills, Anna

Anna Mills is a Sheffield-based visual artist whose contemporary abstract artworks explore form, pattern and restraint through polymer clay. Originally trained in interior design, she spent over a decade designing luxury interiors across London, France and the United States before establishing Studio Anna. Using intricate caning techniques, she creates layered compositions that investigate the relationship between control and spontaneity, where meticulously constructed patterns are transformed by the physical behaviour of the material itself. She is currently developing a growing body of work for collectors, exhibitions, and contemporary interiors.
