Palmer, Radka
Radka is a Czech-born visual artist based in Blackpool, UK. Her painting practice explores themes of transformation, liminality and becoming, creating spaces that sit between what was and what is still emerging. Working primarily through abstraction, she combines intuitive mark-making, layered colour and subtle symbolic elements to create works that invite reflection and personal interpretation.
Influenced by spirituality, nature and lived experience, Radka approaches painting as both a process of discovery and a conversation with the unknown. Her recent work investigates whether transformation can be made visible through painting itself, with each piece acting as a threshold between inner experience and material form.
Radka holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art and is currently completing an MA in Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire. She has exhibited in galleries and exhibitions across the UK and continues to develop her practice from her studio in Blackpool.
