I am a reclaim artist and have been featured in Reclaim Magazine for my work which is largely experimental. My aim is strange but beautiful – an imperfect, sometimes savage beauty. My work has been described as otherworldly a theatrical darkness, and that’s the place I go to when I’m working I love the challenge that working in reclaim brings and I am proud to be part of the re-use revolution. I see potential in all kinds of things, verdigris covered cans, old paintings that I paint over and then rub back exposing texture and the painting below, but the mannequins are my favourites and the pieces I am most known for, they bring a special challenge but look amazing as sculptural lamps.
